For a privacy request, email us with the subject “Privacy request.” Explain the request and the information needed to identify the relevant enquiry or transaction, without sending unnecessary sensitive documents.
Information we collect
- Enquiries: name, email, optional phone, puppy interest, location details, and message content.
- Optional applications: contact and location details, puppy preferences, and information you choose to share about your household, pets, home, experience, and care arrangements.
- Order and fulfilment information: selected puppy, contact and delivery details, purchase correspondence, payment confirmation information, and documents needed to arrange the transaction. Payment is arranged manually; our general forms do not collect card numbers or passwords.
- Website and security information: browser/device information, interactions with pages, and technical information used by hosting, analytics, advertising, and form-security systems.
Please do not submit children’s names, medical details about household members, identity documents, or payment credentials in optional free-text fields.
Why we use information
- Respond to questions and review optional applications.
- Discuss suitability, availability, and the purchase arrangements.
- Process transactions and coordinate documents, delivery, or appointments.
- Maintain records, resolve disputes, and meet applicable legal and accounting requirements.
- Protect forms and the website from misuse.
- Understand website activity and measure advertising and conversions.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing may be necessary to respond to a request or perform a transaction, meet legal obligations, pursue legitimate operational interests, or rely on consent where required. These purposes do not mean every legal basis applies to every processing activity.
Google Analytics and Meta Pixel
We currently use Google Analytics for website analytics and Meta Pixel for advertising and conversion tracking. These services may process page visits, interactions, identifiers, and device or browser information. We do not currently use a live-chat service.
For provider details, see how Google uses information from partner sites and Meta’s Privacy Policy. We will update this policy if additional analytics, advertising, or communication tools are added.
Cookies, cart storage, and choices
The cart stores selected puppy identifiers in local browser storage. Contact and application forms use security sessions and anti-spam checks; security processing includes limited rate-limit information rather than public storage of messages. Hosting may maintain technical logs.
Analytics and advertising tools may use cookies or similar technologies. Browser settings can restrict cookies or clear stored data, though doing so may affect the cart or forms. Google also provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on; provider controls do not necessarily stop all other data collection.
Contact us to make a privacy or targeted-advertising opt-out request. This policy describes data practices; it is not itself a cookie-consent control.
Retention
We retain customer enquiries, applications, and order records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, process transactions, maintain business and legal records, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable legal and accounting requirements.
Security and international handling
Our forms use validation and anti-spam measures, and enquiries and applications are sent through configured email handling. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Avoid sending sensitive credentials through our forms.
We are based in the United States. Information may be handled by service providers in other countries. Any applicable requirements for international transfers must be addressed in the relevant provider and processing arrangements.
Privacy requests and rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to object to or opt out of certain processing, including targeted advertising. Where processing relies on consent, you may be entitled to withdraw it. Some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations.
Email our public contact address to make a request. We may need to verify your identity appropriately. Where applicable, you may appeal a decision on your request or contact the relevant privacy regulator. Information about Texas privacy protections is available from the Texas Attorney General.
Policy updates
We will update this page when our practices change. Contact us with questions about the current handling of your information.
